It is common for Christians to believe in something and be firm on their faith that it will happen. Some may oppose that it is somehow self-centered and full dependency to Jesus. However, if you were to look at it on a different spectrum, being able to confidently claim something signifies a strong faith in Jesus. In support of what was stated in James 5;16-18, “The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much. Elijah was a man with a nature like us, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the earth for three years and six months. Then he prayed again, and the sky poured rain and the earth produced its fruit.”
A Christian believer with an unfailing trust to Jesus will be blessed supposing that the claim he is making is in line with Jesus’ divine will and plans for him. Sometimes, we ask and pray for something and Jesus makes us wait before it happens, but if you seek His guiding presence, you will know whether the delay is for your preparation or for reconsideration.
As a Christian who is keen in claiming something, you must consider navigating your concern whether it is only for your own good or for the benefit of the majority. Jesus hears all your prayers but He wants you to ensure that it is a righteous claim. He may let you wait a little longer for it, but it is only His way of telling you that you are not yet ready to receive the blessing He is about to pour. Hence, it is important to seek His guidance to realize what He desires from you. If you wish to be successful one day and claim that it will be granted to you, then evaluate yourself in the process if you’re prepared to handle the responsibility of becoming one.
It is easy to claim something in thin air without a hint of sincerity. Claiming just for the sake of testing waters is like an insinuation of lack of faith. As a Christian, your claim should be based on your trust in the Lord that He is capable of granting your wish in accordance to His will. Only Him can tell you what you do and do not deserve. Know that whatever happens in your life, never lose your faith in Him and keep praying for it. Jesus sees a persistent heart and He loves you dearly enough for Him to give what you truly desire.
Miracles are not unusual for Christians with an ardent faith in Jesus. Miracles happen because Jesus wants to remind you that He is powerful enough to make your claims come to reality. A normal Christian won’t be able to divide the ocean, but through faith and complete devotion to Him, it can be possible. Nothing is impossible when you believe.
As Ephesians 2;8-9 have attested, “For by grace you have been saved through faith and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of Jesus; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.” It is useless to persevere without due faith in Jesus. You see, life is not about hard work alone. It is about allowing Him to live in your heart and manifest His goodness and power. Only then will you be able to experience His graces without any intention of singing your own praises.
When you claim something and it was given to you, know that it is Jesus who granted your heart’s yearning. Everyone is nothing without Him, but that doesn’t mean complete reliance on His power. You are ought to bend over backward and prove to Him that you are worthy of and ready for His blessings. Give your praises to Jesus and never forget to live a righteous life and use your graces for good. He blesses those who have a kind heart because He knows what He has given will be nurtured for His greater glory.
Whatever life brings you, be it something unfavorable or a piece of good fortune, never cease to claim for better days to come and believe that Jesus is a merciful God. If He happens to shower His blessings on you, go into raptures over His glory and live a life that’s pleasing in His eyes. Being a faithful Christian believer means being responsible for his claims. Whatever happens, do not be blinded by fortune or by fame. Stay humble and continue to seek God so you will never be lost in life.
