Your Lords Message For Today

I restore the crushed spirit of the humble and revive the courage of those with repentant hearts.

I restore the crushed spirit of the humble and revive the courage of those with repentant hearts.

“And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen and establish you.” God has promised in 1 Peter 5:10 the restoration that everyone needs in the midst of suffering and trials. Every Christians who believes in Him will be saved once again from the depths of despair. You may be going through something right now that’s making you feel lost and abandoned, but He will lift you up from the bottom and raise you up from the low.

God is faithful to those who put their trust in Him. Even a devoted Christian can commit the biggest sins on earth, but only repent your sins and He will restore your soul. Just like everyone else, you also need a second chance in life. Second chances are given to those who surrender themselves to God and accept that He is the only one capable of renewing your heart. Embrace His glory and you will experience the miracle of His power.

Humble Thyself to His Name

Embrace humility within you and the thought of your nothingness without God.  Your strength will weaken, your beauty will fade, your intellect will relapse, and your body will decay. Nothing is permanent in this world, that’s why live a humble life and acknowledge your weaknesses and failures. It is okay to feel needy and hopeless, but ascertain yourself that you will fight your life battles without losing your faith to God. He will never give you any obstacles that you can’t surpass. As a Christian, believe that you are chosen as one of His strongest soldiers who can overcome everything that life bombs at you. Acknowledge that you need Him in your life to replenish your soul with goodness and compassion.

Psalm 71:20-21 asserts, “You who have made me see many troubles and calamities will revive me again; from the depths of the earth, you will bring me up again. You will increase my greatness and comfort me again.” God will always be there for you if you call upon His name. Enjoy your life journey and learn from your mistakes. After all, all wrongdoings have lessons to embark on that will make you better and wiser the next time you encounter it.

Confess All Your Sins to God

Committing sins will make you feel unworthy and undeserving of His mercy. Know that God is forgiving and He’s only waiting for you to come to Him and bow down yourself before His name. Release your guilt to Him and clean your conscience. Purify your heart and His Holy presence will give you restoration. James 5:16 declares, “Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.”

God sees everything you do even before you attempt to do it. Good works don't need to be proclaimed because He knows your heart’s intentions, but your bad deeds must be confessed to Him. Admitting your sins means you are lowering yourself to God. It means you have faith that He will not judge you from your trespasses and you respect His presence in your life.

Healing Comes After Prayer

Start and end your day with a prayer. Communication to God is your way of welcoming him in your life and accepting His divine presence. Whatever life brings to the table, pray and seek God. When life is full of struggles, pray for tranquility and consolation. When life gives you doubts, pray for peace of mind. When life gives you problems, pray for enlightenment. You see, God will not automatically resolve your life issues, but He would rather give you the drive that you need to surpass it by using your own strength.

Your restoration needs to be done gradually, because if it happens right after your downfall, you will never learn how to fight your own demons and would rely your recovery on God. Help yourself first before seeking God’s healing. Prove that you are willing and sincere about renewing your bad deeds, and you are physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually prepared to accept His restoration.

Today Tip of the Day

A Christian believer will always humble himself before God and repent his sins in the hopes of becoming a better follower. As a sinner, never cease in praying for renewal as it will be your weapon against the devouring mouth of darkness. His restoration will be your guiding light as you walk to the right path, which will give you a clearer view of life’s purpose and meaning. Don’t lose the opportunity to know and accept the loving presence of God within you.
