Preparedness is one important weapon you can have against the uncertainties of life. As much as God wants you to succeed in life, He also wants His followers to achieve something that's coming from hard work and effort. Through that, you will be able to value what you have and make use of it for the greater good.
It is a wise decision to plan ahead about things that are yet to encounter in the future. Trading something in exchange for a valuable gain is a good preparation for you and your loved one's sustainability. It is not displeasing for a Christian to make his way in life by doing things that would benefit him, as long as he doesn't obtain it through deceit. Remember, selfishness may bring you somewhere, but not anywhere higher in life. As much as possible, live under God’s truthfulness while fulfilling your duty to serve Him.
They say, it's not your fault if you are born poor, but if you die poor, then all accountability belongs to you. If God gives you the ability to become prosperous, have faith and make the best out of it. Do not let a single wealth change your principle and loyalty to God, and do not let a small penny fear you to do better in life.
Matthew 25:14-18 says, “For it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted to them his property. To one he gave five talents, to another two, to another one, to each according to his ability. Then he went away. He who had received the five talents went at once and traded with them, and he made five talents more.
So also, he who had the two talents made two more talents. But he who had received the one talent went and dug in the ground and hid his master's money." If you are not going to use what He has given you for a good cause, you will not have anything to reap in the future. Life will leave you in the darkest corner with nothing but what's left for you.
You will never know what tomorrow brings, so it is important to make sure you are in a good situation if ever a certain adversity comes. Ecclesiastes 11:1-4 declares, "Invest your money in foreign trade, and one of these days you will make a profit. Put your investments in several places—many places even—because you never know what kind of bad luck you are going to have in this world. No matter which direction a tree falls, it will lie where it fell. When the clouds are full, it rains. If you wait until the wind and the weather are just right, you will never plant anything and never harvest anything."
Do not wait for great things to fall in your place. It is a waste of time to be idle and allow opportunities to come to you. Make great things happen and opportunities knock by doing what you can with what you have today. The more you trade and invest into something, the more your harvests will be when the time is right.
A Christian who is diligent in his trading investments will be blessed by the Lord, for he has used his abilities to provide for his loved ones and use the gifts that were given to him for his future security. Someone who perseveres in life connotes a meaningful service to Him and has filled his bucket of riches in heaven. God despises the lazy and the sloth who is not doing anything to elevate their life conditions.
Proverbs 22:29 states, "Seest thou a man diligent in his business? He shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men." Preparing for life is like preparing yourself to inherit the kingdom of God. If you have been functional in serving God's commands on earth, then He will welcome you in heaven and all your sacrifices will be worth it.
When you invest into trading, see to it that your intentions for gaining something is not rooted in greed for money, but to secure your family's needs and give them stability. Money will not give you satisfaction if you are going to be blinded by it every time, you will only want more and more until you can no longer feel contentment. Do not let it drive you to deceive people because life doesn’t revolve around fortune and wealth. What truly matters is your Christian values that should be brought wherever you may choose to do in life.
