Everybody Can Love But It Takes A Strong Person To Love Damaged People
Today’s tarot is the Temperance card. The universe has plenty of opportunities and numerous paths that one can walk along yet if you fail to find a balance you will only end up causing irreversible damage to your life.
The card has the female angelic figure holding two cups and emptying a liquid from one cup to another. This indicates that you need not take in too much of something for it can only result in damage. The figure has one foot in water while the other foot on the land to indicate that whenever you are not certain about something you should first test the waters. Getting into it without full information can only cause damage to you since you may end up drowning. The figure wears a whote robe which indicates that you need to have good intentions when doing something to ensure it is successful. There are yellow flowers and green plants on the land the figure stands on to indicate the prosperity that will accompany you when you lead a balanced life free of damage. In the background there is a mountain to indicate the mountains you are facing in life and the need to overcome them. The sun can also be seen burning brightly to indicate that you need to get rid of the darkness in your life and usher in brightness.
Nobody was created and placed in this universe in a broken state yet it is unfortunate that along the way people get damaged. Damaged people may not be easy to spot yet if you are keen enough you will not miss out on the signs. Unlike the confident normal people, they are identified by the fear that overwhelms them. Instead of freely mingling and interacting with others, damaged people are loners and always detached from other people. They have a low self-esteem and it is difficult for them to believe that anything good can come out of them. These are the people who will need constant assurance since they need someone else to make them believe in them. It is unfortunate that these people may end up causing chaos since they are the violent type hence others may be hurt in the process.
The Temperance card may indicate that you are prone to becoming a damaged person hence you need to be careful and take the necessary precautions to prevent that from occurring. The card is calling you out to take things easy as they present themselves to avoid making a mistake. Like the figure on the card putting a foot in water and leaving out the other on the land, it is a warning that you need to be cautious of your actions. While you may feel like taking a step at a time is a waste of time, the truth is that you will only end up drowning and damaged if you run to take actions without a second thought. You may be thinking of taking up a certain job because it has a good pay yet you fail to consider other factors such as your passions and long-term goals. Rushing into it will only result in damage if you later find out that you were not passionate about the job and you do not enjoy the work environment. By the time you get back on track, it will be too late and you will have wasted too much time and resources. Today you are called upon to slow down, conduct research, do an analysis and think critically before making a decision that will impact your life.
Damaged people may be the most difficult to love since they might be broken beyond repair. They are the people to set high standards of what their partners should be yet they are nowhere close to that. Their choice of partners is very poor since they are focused on who looks good to be seen with them rather than who makes them happy. They have commitment issues which may emanate from past failed relationships and even childhood traumas that left them scarred for life. Damaged people are quick to blame others and they fail to take responsibility for their actions.
The Temperance card could indicate that you are surrounded by many damaged people and you find it hard to understand and even love them. If you are considering getting into a relationship with a broken person, the card warns you that you need to know the possible consequences and think critically on whether you are ready for them. The reason behind the concern is that broken people have a likelihood of abusing their partners especially if they feel threatened. The right thing to do is to give space for the damaged people to heal before they are capable of getting into a relationship. Just like the figure empties liquid from one cup to another, the temperance card is a reminder that a relationship requires two mature people for it to work out. When one’s cup is empty, they will rely on the overflowing cup of their partner to create a balance and complement each other. If one person is broken, there are high chances that they will damage their partner and the relationship will be broken.
When you were born, you were a complete person and your existence is valid until you complete your mission and get to your destiny having achieved success. While the universe presented everyone with a blank book upon birth for one to write their story, it is unfortunate that along the way some people became damaged. It may not be their fault that they became damaged since others were compromised by broken relationships and childhood traumas. Today’s tarot is a reminder that the damaged people need to be loved so that they do not have to feel broken. However, it is a warning and a call to be careful for anyone who chooses to get into a relationship with a damaged person.
